Your new role

As a General Ledger professional, you will be responsible for overseeing a range of general accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements, and supporting cross-functional collaboration.
Your key duties will include preparing and maintaining various sub-accounting functions, including journal entries, prepayments / accruals, fixed assets, and project accounting transactions, while ensuring compliance with established rules and regulations.
You will handle monthly closure processes, produce financial statements such as profit & loss, cash flow, and balance sheets, and resolve any discrepancies.
You will manage financial systems to maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with US GAAP and other regulations.
Additionally, you will be liaising with external auditors and tax agents for tax filing activities (VAT, GST, annual tax return, and statutory audit), providing recommendations to resolve discrepancies.
You will also be involved in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounting operations.

What you'll need to succeed

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is highly preferred.

Demonstrated experience in financial management within IT or project environments, driving effective financial oversight.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen focus on detail and precision.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.

Proficient in financial systems and tools, including SAP, BPC, and Power BI (desirable).

Proven ability to manage tasks independently, while promoting teamwork and fostering collaborative environments.
