As a Senior Data Engineer, you will entwine data into an architectural system that supports fintech initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data infrastructure and pipelines to enable data processing, storage, and analysis for data-driven decision-making.
- Build scalable systems / data pipelines interfacing with sources such as Kafka, RDBMS, REST endpoints, and object storage services.
- Review and interpret business and technical requirements with a focus on data objectives; identify requirements and develop data delivery solutions.
- Implement data access and distribution policies; contribute to data management best practices (data modeling, DataOps, data catalog / discovery, data contracts).
- Support multiple teams to determine database structural requirements; assist with design and optimization for high performance and cost efficiency.
- Mentor junior data engineers and collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
- Support end-to-end data flow for projects, including troubleshooting data quality issues, data model design, data consumption, and query performance.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance data engineering capabilities; design and ship data platform tooling for developers, analysts, and scientists.
- Maintain multiple codebases and conduct code reviews or pair programming to ensure high-quality code.
