About the role

LIKAS RESOURCES SDN. BHD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a full-time member of our growing organisation, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial records and reporting, contributing to the overall financial health and success of the company.

What you'll be doing

Manage the full accounts payables and receivable cycles, including invoicing, reconciliations, and payments processing
Prepare and analyse financial statements (double entry accounting / general ledger).
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
Assist with ad-hoc financial and accounting as required

What we're looking for

At least 3 years of experience in a similar senior accounts executive role, preferably within the Accounting industry

Proficient in the use of accounting software (AutoCount) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiar with Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations

Salary is negotiable based on relevant past experience.
