Key Responsibilities
1.Incoming Quality Control
- Develop and maintain incoming inspection procedures and criteria based on drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Provide technical guidance to the IQC team on inspection methods and tools.
2.Non-Conformance Management
Identify and document non-conforming materials through NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).Work closely with suppliers to drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (8D, 5Why, etc.).Coordinate material disposition (return to vendor, rework, scrap, etc.).3.Supplier Quality Interface
Act as the primary quality contact for incoming material issues with suppliers.Review and align on quality requirements, specifications, and inspection standards.Collaborate with SQE and Procurement teams for supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.4.Continuous Improvement
Analyze incoming quality data and trends; propose and drive improvement initiatives.Support Quality KPIs, including incoming defect rate (PPM), supplier scorecards, and issue closure rates.Participate in internal and external audits when required.5.Documentation & Compliance
Ensure all inspection records, test data, and quality documents are properly maintained.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001; experienced with other applicable quality standards is a plus.Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in a quality role, preferably in manufacturing, automation, or electronics industries.Strong knowledge of Quality 5 tool : APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QMS systems, and statistical tools (e.g. Minitab, Excel).Ability to work with cross-functional teams and interface with suppliers professionally.Fluent in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia, in order to have smooth conversation with external support team and clients from China, and internal team as well.Salary Range : Rm6000 - RM7000
