Job Title : - Statutory Analyst
Location : - Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur
Role Summary : -
Part of the global statutory team responsible for "best in class" service and providing ad hoc project support, as required. The team works closely with other finance teams, providing support when required and collaborating across functions to meet overall goals
Essential Responsibilities : -
- Reviewing Management and Statutory financial statements, coordination audit requests by working closely with Functional team, Business, Tax, Legal and Operations.
- Preparing the financial statements and audit pack to auditors in compliance to the local statutory requirements.
- Performing analytical reviews, analysis for US GAAP to statutory walk, assessing the quality of data and working with the team to solve issues.
- Extracting insight from data and explain, giving root cause analysis and recommendation to relevant stakeholders.
- Managing government reporting deliverables to local authority
- Assisting in ad-hoc projects relating to audit & accounting
- Performing under minimal supervision, evaluate, maintain and improve efficiency of financial processes.
