Job Description

Setup complex test systems / test software solutions with new features for the product line based on PAV provided by the MFI team, according to the following requirements :

Lead the project tester concept study with CoC, SE, and ENG.

  • Plan and design overall testers as per the defined concept.
  • Plan project tester budget and procurement activities.
  • Track project budget and ensure equipment costs stay within the planned budget.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of test systems to the production line according to project milestones, including managing equipment, hardware interfaces, and mechanical jig and fixture purchases.
  • Release the test system according to the Test System Release Procedure.
  • Train and coach on maintenance plans, analysis tools for breakdown causes, test system setup guidelines, and test fixture and job design concepts.
  • Lead standardization activities in the functional area.

Manage procurement plans involving central purchasing, PIR partners, and suppliers. Maintain supplier performance evaluations and ensure delivery according to technical specifications.

Implement full test procedures as per the defined test procedures in PAV, achieving the required test coverage, and ensuring alignment and calibration processes (such as flashing for memory, tuner alignment / calibration) are in line with test procedures.

Guide and coach engineers on technical issues.

Provide general support including :

Leading and driving TFOR / FPY meetings to monitor daily operation test issues.

  • Analyzing MIS data and coordinating improvements in test time reduction and machine efficiency.
  • Participating early in new model concept discussions with CoC and TEF7 to ensure smooth project setup after SOP.
  • Setting up new tools to increase setup efficiency.
  • Perform other TEF7-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and transfer technical knowledge.
  • Ability to source off-the-shelf solutions to meet production testing needs.
  • Ability to design new test concepts / platforms based on product and market needs.
