Job Summary

: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Procurement Executive to lead and monitor procurement activities, with a strong focus on supplier relationship management—primarily with Chinese vendors (90%). This role is key to cost optimization, ensuring material availability, and resolving supplier-related issues. A technical background is a strong advantage, especially for handling component-level sourcing and after-sales complaint resolution.

Key Responsibilities

1.Procurement Oversight

Supervise daily procurement operations : PO issuance, supplier follow-up, and material ETA tracking.
Ensure procurement plans align with production schedules and material forecasts.
Monitor procurement KPIs : lead time, cost variance, delivery accuracy.

2. Supplier Management (Mainly China)

Manage relationships with overseas suppliers, particularly in

China

, via Mandarin communication.

Evaluate supplier performance (price, quality, responsiveness, lead time).

Conduct supplier audits (virtually or on-site) as required.

3. Cost Management & Sourcing

Source cost-effective alternatives and negotiate pricing and terms with current and new suppliers.

Support product development and engineering in sourcing technical materials and parts.

Drive initiatives to reduce overall material costs while maintaining quality standards.

4. Forecast & Supply Planning

Analyze sales forecasts and usage trends to create monthly purchase plans.

Monitor long lead time and critical items to avoid shortages or urgent purchases.

Propose safety stock or buffer strategies for recurring high-risk items.

5. Supplier Issue Resolution

Handle all supplier-related issues, including :

Order discrepancies

(wrong item, quantity, or delivery condition)

After-sales complaints

(faulty parts, recurring defects, missing documentation)

Corrective action coordination

(supplier investigations, replacements, refunds)

Maintain records of supplier NCRs and improvement actions.

6. Supplier Evaluation & Vendor Onboarding

Conduct new supplier evaluations and maintain documentation for vendor registration.

Update and manage the vendor master list in ERP.

Ensure compliance with procurement SOP and ISO requirements.

Requirements

Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Fluency in Chinese is preferred due to dealings with Chinese suppliers.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Technical background or understanding of battery components is a strong plus.
