Responsibilities
Conduct feasibility studies and prepare corporate proposals aligned with the company’s strategic direction.
Perform valuations of target companies using various valuation methodologies, including feasibility studies, financial models, and projections.
Develop M&A structures, financial restructuring models, and comprehensive financial statements—including pre‑ and post‑business models, cashflows, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets—to support valuation and due diligence processes.
Formulate and execute corporate exercise schemes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while negotiating optimal terms and resolving related issues with effective recommendations.
Prepare detailed and comprehensive reports and presentations for submission to EXCO and the Board of Directors.
Draft, review, and finalize all documentation related to corporate proposals (presentation materials, board papers, legal documents, shareholder announcements, and circulars), ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Monitor and ensure all corporate finance activities adhere to the latest Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission, and other statutory regulations.
Coordinate and liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders such as investment bankers, lawyers, company secretaries, auditors, and tax advisors to facilitate corporate exercises.
Oversee the full implementation of corporate exercises, ensuring all activities are completed according to agreed terms, structures, and timelines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
8 to 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in corporate finance within a PLC or a Big Four audit firm.
Ability to read and speak Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders and review financial documents in Mandarin.
Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills with expertise in structuring corporate finance and investment proposals.
Excellent writing and presentation skills, capable of developing board‑level documents and presentation papers.
Highly proactive with a strong ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and drive results effectively.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels and manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
