Job description

Responsibilities

Development of PLC & SCADA system designs.
PLC control system programming and SCADA configuration from approved designs.
Accountable for systems lifecycle, from design through programming to testing, installation and configuration, and documentation (FDS, FAT, SAT procedures).
Installation and commissioning work at customer sites.
Willingness to travel and work away when required.

Technical Skills

Programming languages : Function Block Diagram (FBD), Structured Text (ST), Sequential Function Charts (SFC), Ladder Diagram, C, C++, SQL Integration.

Communication protocols : Modbus RTU / ASCII / TCP, Ethernet / IP, Profibus, OPC UA.

Experience with PLC vendors : Allen Bradley, Schneider, Siemens Simatic S7.

Qualifications

Preferred but not essential : Oil & Gas industry experience.
