We're Hiring : Accounting Manager! 🌟

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and team leadership. You will play a key role in managing our accounting operations and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Job Description & Responsibilities :

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian accounting standards (MPERS / MFRS), tax regulations, and

statutory requirements.

Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant regulatory authorities.

Manage and monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning.

Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to enhance financial accuracy

and risk mitigation.

Manage, supervise, and mentor junior accounting staff.

Handle corporate tax matters including SST, income tax, and withholding tax.

Work closely with other departments to support overall business strategies and decisions.

Participate in strategic planning, cost reduction, and financial performance improvement

initiatives.

Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and legislation relevant to Malaysia.

Oversee and ensure timely processing of payroll and reimbursement of employee expenses.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all accounting-related inquiries and decision-making.

Build and maintain professional relationships with bankers, the company secretary, auditors,

and other key external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent are preferred.

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations, taxation laws, and accounting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software - Autocount, Xero or similar.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
