Job descriptionValid Chargeman with BO-2 level certification or above issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga. SPM with credits in Mathematics and Science / Physics; a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage. More than 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with hands‑on knowledge of high‑voltage systems. Familiarity with building systems maintenance, fire safety equipment, and preventive maintenance programs. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of OSHA, MS IEC 60364, and facility safety standards. Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency call‑outs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Operate, inspect, and maintain high-voltage equipment such as 33kV switchgear, transformers, and main distribution boards.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in the electrical distribution system, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Conduct routine testing, maintenance, and servicing protection relays, circuit breakers, UPS, and generators.
- Maintain compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations and the Electricity Supply Act 1990.
- Record and maintain accurate electrical logbooks, inspection reports, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with TNB, contractors, and regulatory authorities during system audits, shutdowns, and maintenance activities.
- Support energy efficiency initiatives and power quality improvement projects.
