(HE) Power Electronics Engineer (58816)

Working Hour : Monday - Friday (8am - 5.30pm)

Job Descriptions :

• Design power conversion circuits (PFC, IPM drive, SMPS, gate drive, DC link) for inverter AC systems.
• Perform circuit simulation to validate waveforms, stress points, and thermal performance.
• Conduct worst-case analysis, derating calculations, and protection scheme design.
• Develop and review PCB layout for high-power, high-noise environments : – creepage / clearance– EMC suppression– thermal spreading– current loop minimization
• Validate prototypes through bench testing, reliability tests, and safety compliance testing.
• Support certification tests (IEC 60335, UL 60730, EMI / EMC standards).
• Collaborate with mechanical team on heat sinks, airflow, and enclosure constraints.
