The Role You will be part of the Experience team. The Experience team believes in innovating and pushing the boundaries of experience design. They research, review, iterate and develop meaningful interactions between the client’s product and its intended users. The team is made up of Researchers, Engagement Specialists, Product Managers, Project Managers, UX Designers, UI Designers and Developers. As the Project Manager, you will work closely alongside our core team and clients to plan and deliver projects on time, while achieving quality and customer satisfaction. You will be expected to lead technical projects from ideation to completion, driving effective performance in our team of creatives and developers. You should also be a personable individual who can manage communications and cooperation between our team and the client’s working team. Job Description and Responsibilities -Project management and organizational skills -Manage and see digital projects through from start to finish - this includes scoping, requirements gathering, resource management and building out timelines based on our design and development processes -Play the advisory role at the start of projects by helping to identify potential challenges based on the client’s brief -Assess and apply the right project management methodology (agile or waterfall practices) to ensure the success of our projects. This will also include facilitating both internal and external sessions such as kickoff meetings, standups, sprint planning etc. -Provide direction and support to all project team members so that they have all the necessary information and resources to carry out their tasks effectively 2. Problem-solving skills -Proactively identify and mitigate risks, remove impediments and blockers should they arise, to ensure that the project is able to continue and proceed smoothly -Demonstrate critical thinking when it comes to problem-solving, task prioritisation and managing multiple project timelines 3. You prefer rolling your sleeves up and getting your hands dirty to fix the problem. -A minimum of 2-4 years of demonstrated skills in software / product development or digital project management skills -Experience in a client-facing role, with good verbal and written communication skills to enhance negotiation and liaison within teams -Strong understanding of software development life cycle -A team player with excellent time management skills -A pragmatic approach to problem solving, able to articulate and balance trade-offs to keep teams moving forward -Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies -Familiar with current and emerging technologies; proficient with tools such as Asana, Slack, G suite -Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in high-pressure situations and tight time frames -Able to manage and motivate team members through the process -Knowledge of Mandarin is essential as we will be communicating with overseas clients and dealing with projects in this language -Familiar working with remote teams and cross-border projects Good to have -Knowledge or experience in product management -Knowledge in CMS (Wordpress and AEM) -Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
