SENIOR MANAGER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (SUBSEA, IRM AND T&I)
Responsible for leading business growth in subsea construction, IRM, and T&I services. Develops strategic client relationships, identifies new opportunities, and drives tendering and commercial initiatives to expand the company’s presence in the offshore energy market.
Job Responsibilities
Business Development & Strategy
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to grow market share in subsea construction, IRM, and T&I segments.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities with existing and prospective clients across oil & gas, renewables, and offshore infrastructure markets.
- Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments to support long-term strategic positioning.
- Collaborate with executive management to define annual sales targets, KPIs, and business growth objectives.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Build, maintain, and expand strong client relationships at senior levels across operators, EPCs, and service companies.Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to enhance brand presence and partnerships.Coordinate client presentations, capability statements, and proposal submissions to align with client expectations and technical requirements.Lead the preparation and negotiation of commercial proposals, prequalification documents, and contract terms in collaboration with the tendering, legal, and operations teams.Provide strategic input on pricing, risk management, and bid / no‑bid decisions.Support post-award activities, ensuring smooth transition from contract award to project execution teams.Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Geoscience, or a related field.Master’s degree or MBA in Business or related discipline is preferred.Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Business Development, including strategy formulation, market analysis, and client acquisition within the offshore energy, subsea construction, IRM (Inspection, Repair & Maintenance), or T&I (Transportation & Installation) sectors.At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity, overseeing business development teams and managing cross‑functional collaboration.Proven track record of achieving sales growth, winning tenders, and establishing long‑term client partnerships in the oil & gas or offshore services industry.Skill & Knowledge
In-depth understanding of subsea operations, marine construction, IRM services, T&I campaigns, and project execution frameworks.Strong expertise in client relationship management, networking, and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience mentoring and motivating a high‑performing team.Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
