What you will be responsible for :
- Responsible for firmware architecture design, development, and optimization for Bitdeer’s next-generation ASIC mining control systems.
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware for MCU / ARM-based platforms to control system power, sensors, and communication interfaces.
- Implement and optimize firmware modules including temperature control, fan speed, voltage regulation, and real-time status monitoring.
- Work closely with hardware, PCB, and testing teams to validate firmware functionality and ensure seamless hardware–software integration.
- Conduct low-level driver development, debugging, and hardware bring-up during the prototype phase.
- Participate in performance optimization for power efficiency, response latency, and data reliability.
- Write and maintain firmware documentation, interface specifications, and change control records.
- Provide technical support during production testing and field deployment, ensuring firmware stability under different workloads.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to develop scalable and maintainable firmware solutions across multiple product lines.
- Continuously research emerging technologies, embedded frameworks, and methodologies to improve firmware design efficiency.
How you will stand out :
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded firmware development or low-level software engineering.Proficient in C / C++ programming, with experience in embedded Linux or RTOS environments.Familiar with UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, RS485, TCP / IP, and other communication protocols.Experience with firmware–hardware interface debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or JTAG tools.Strong knowledge of embedded system architecture, interrupt handling, and real-time performance tuning.Experience with version control tools (Git) and build systems (CMake, Makefile).Understanding of ASIC-based system architecture and control loop design is a plus.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within global R&D and testing teams.What you will experience working with us :
