Job Summary

We are hiring a Finance Executive to support our finance team in managing accounting operations, reporting, budgeting, taxation, and documentation for grant applications. This role is suitable for someone with audit experience (1–2 years) and commercial finance experience (3–5 years) who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive in ensuring accurate and timely financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Accounting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Ensure accurate accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Support external audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors.
  • Help monitor and enforce internal controls and compliance processes.

2. Budgeting & Analysis

  • Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting.
  • Track actual vs. budget performance and prepare variance analysis.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
  • 3. Payables, Receivables & Cash Flow

  • Review supplier / contractor payments and ensure supporting documents are in order.
  • Monitor collections and assist with receivables follow-up.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and help manage cash flow.
  • 4. Tax & Compliance

  • Assist in preparing and submitting SST, corporate tax, and other statutory filings.
  • Ensure the company complies with local financial and tax regulations.
  • Liaise with tax agents and authorities when required.
  • 5. Grants & Documentation

  • Prepare and organize supporting documents for grant applications and funding claims.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission in line with agency requirements.
  • Maintain proper records for audit and reporting purposes.
  • 6. Financial Systems & Process Improvement

  • Use Epicor and SQL to manage daily accounting operations and reporting.
  • Identify process gaps and support automation or workflow improvements.
  • Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • 1–2 years audit experience (preferably from a recognized firm).
  • 3–5 years commercial finance experience in reporting, budgeting, or tax.
  • Proficient in SQL and Epicor accounting systems.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
  • Good attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • ACCA / MIA / CPA certification is an added advantage but not required.
