Software AI Engineer / Data / ML - 2 yrs Freelance Remote

Our client is an insurance company currently implementing major AI-driven customer solution projects. They are building a full technical team across APAC and seeking to hire professionals in various roles, including but not limited to software development, data science, machine learning, and engineering leadership. This is a 2-year freelance contract with all positions fully remote. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09 : 00–18 : 00 (Asia time zone), with an above-market daily salary. Key Responsibilities : Software Engineer : Develop scalable software for omni-channel customer contact centers and AI-driven platforms using AWS, Node.js, and React, ensuring timely delivery of MVPs with Agile / Lean methodologies. Engineering Lead : Lead development of innovative features, enforce coding standards, and architect scalable solutions, mentoring teams and optimizing the software development lifecycle. Data Scientist : Derive insights using descriptive statistics, predictive analytics, and machine learning, collaborating with product and engineering teams to enhance data-driven decision-making. Machine Learning Engineer : Build and integrate generative AI applications using LLMs and frameworks like Langchain or AWS Bedrock, focusing on customer interactions and scalable APIs. What We're Looking For : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field Software Engineer : 3+ years in Node.js, React, and AWS; familiarity with NoSQL databases and CI / CD tools (preferred) Engineering Lead : 6+ years in software development, 1+ year leading teams, proficient in cloud technologies and CI / CD pipelines Data Scientist : 5+ years in analytical roles, advanced Python, SQL, and experience with numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow / PyTorch Machine Learning Engineer : 6+ years in AI / ML, 3+ years with NLP, LLMs, and frameworks like Langchain; experience in AWS Bedrock (preferred) Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Argyll Scott Asia is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
