Job Description
We are seeking a Shopify & Marketplace E-Commerce Executive to join our regional team based in Malaysia. The candidate will be responsible for managing our Shopify store as well as supporting online marketplace operations (e.g., Lazada, Shopee, Zalora). This role is hands-on, requiring strong attention to detail in store management, product uploads, promotions, and campaign execution.
The E-Commerce Executive plays a key role in driving the growth of our direct-to-consumer and marketplace channels. This role ensures the smooth execution of day-to-day operations on Shopify and regional marketplaces, while maintaining accurate product information, running promotions, and optimizing customer shopping experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Shopify store and key regional marketplaces (MY, SG, ID, VN, HK)
- Upload, edit, and maintain product listings (images, descriptions, pricing, tags, inventory sync)
- Execute promotions, discount codes, bundles, and campaign setups across Shopify and marketplaces
- Monitor performance KPIs (traffic, conversion, sales, abandoned carts) and prepare weekly reports
- Coordinate with the design team for banners, product visuals, and campaign creatives
- Support UX optimization on Shopify (navigation, filters, product categorization, mobile view)
- Liaise with logistics, finance, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations
- Research competitors and market trends to suggest improvements and opportunities
- Test and implement new Shopify apps / marketplace tools for better functionality and automation
- Support monthly sales campaigns (double dates, seasonal pushes) including store setup, promo testing, and discount logic
- Ensure merchandising accuracy by coordinating closely with design and content teams
- Create basic automated reports for campaign outcomes and product performance
Ideal Profile
The ideal candidate should have a Diploma / Degree in E-Commerce, Business, Marketing, or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience in e-commerce operations. Hands-on knowledge of Shopify backend and familiarity with regional marketplaces are preferred.
