Job Summary / Purpose
To support the management and development of the Key Account business in Malaysia towards meeting company’s objectives through Strategic Customer Planning and strong trade relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Practice “Strategic Key Account Management” Approach in managing the customers.
- Negotiate national contracts based on commercial policy and the client objectives.
- Monitor agreements roll‑out and investments.
- Maintain relationships with customers’ key decision makers.
- Manage the account’s P&L.
- Develop relationships with buyers.
- Coordinate execution of agreements and promotions with the sales force.
- Build the business plans for each assigned customer.
- Draw out monthly promotion plans, review customer monthly / yearly cumulative sales performance, the market and category performance, promotion design, measurement tools and promotion effectiveness evaluation.
- Understand fully the key account retail sales strategy and operation mechanism, formulate key account strategy, goal and budget constraints, and determine the business cooperation foundation and opportunities.
Requirements
Minimum Degree in Business / Marketing.Minimum 8 years of related experience with at least 5 years in Key Account Management.Strong verbal and non‑verbal communication skills in English.Experience in the FMCG industry is an added advantage.Experience in Key Account Management / Strategic Customer Management.Seniority level
