Job description

Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or related field
At least 2 years of experience in project costing, preferably in oil & gas or engineering industries
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Word
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates and proposals for engineering or oil & gas projects

Analyze material, labor, and subcontractor costs for accuracy and feasibility

Work closely with project and procurement teams to update costing based on current rates

Assist in preparing tender submissions, quotations, and variation orders

Maintain cost databases, monitor project budgets, and flag cost overruns

Provide cost reports and analysis to management for decision-making

Support internal audits, project reviews, and documentation
