Assistant Production Manager

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Assistant Production Manager to support the Production Manager in overseeing daily operations, optimizing manufacturing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across the plant. This role plays a key part in coordinating production teams, maintaining product quality, and ensuring smooth cross‑department collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Production Manager in planning, controlling, and monitoring all production operations to achieve output, quality, and cost targets.

Lead and guide Section Heads and Supervisors in executing production schedules within budget and time constraints.

Oversee quality control, inventory control, and coordination of production activities with other departments.

Monitor and enforce production standards, efficiency, and safety compliance across all lines.

Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization initiatives.

Collaborate closely with other departments to plan and implement company goals, policies, and procedures.

Analyze production performance data, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.

Ensure confidentiality and proper documentation of all production information.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, ISO standards, and Internal Quality Auditing.

Familiar with CNC machining processes and manufacturing technologies.

Good communication and coordination skills across departments.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or engineering roles.

Exposure to Health & Safety Management, SPC, or Six Sigma is an advantage.
