- Provide expert-level knowledge transfer, mentoring, and advisory services to clients onSAS system administration
- Monitor, start, stop, and manage SAS servers and spawners
- Administer andmaintainSAS metadata repositories, including regular backups and access control
- Use SAS Management Console (SMC) to manage metadata, user permissions, and library configurations
- Troubleshoot SAS server issues including connectivity, authentication, and performance bottlenecks
- Monitor system resources (CPU, RAM, disk, ports) andoptimizeserver performance
- Install and manage SAS software updates, patches, and hotfixes
- Support andmaintainSubversion (SVN) repositories, including user access, folder structures, and hook routines
- Resolve SVN client connectivity issues andassistwith operations such as checkout, commit, import / export
- Maintain audit and message logs, and perform corrections as needed
- Ensure compliance with customer security models and access policies
- Support integration of SAS with third-party systems such as databases and web application servers
