Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Data Engineer based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines. They will work with data modeling, perform Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, manage data warehousing solutions, and conduct data analytics to support the company's trading operations and decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Fluent in Mandarin / Cantonese
• 5-6 years' experience in data engineering or similar role
• Strong SQL and database management skills
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, SSIS, Informatica, or open-source alternatives)
• Proficient in Python or Java for data processing
• Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with BI / reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Good problem-solving and teamwork skills
