Field Operations Engineer (Johor)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and assess technical feasibility for new EV charger installations
• Prepare installation proposals and technical inputs including load calculations, power requirements, and layout recommendations
• Cable routing plans and installation method statements
• Bill of materials and scope-of-work documentation
• Collaborate with business development, design, and project teams during proposal phase
• Perform installation supervision, commissioning, and testing of EV charging stations (AC & DC)
• Monitor and maintain installed chargers for uptime, safety, and compliance
• Troubleshoot hardware and communication issues on-site using diagnostic tools
• Coordinate with utility providers, civil contractors, and equipment OEMs as required
• Maintain accurate field reports, checklists, and service logs
• Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards, local codes, and company policies
• Provide customer support and training for end-users when needed
• Perform other related duties as may be required by the Management
