Position : Governance Expert Location : Malaysia (Port Dickson) Salary : RM10000 - RM12999 Working hours : Normal Hour Industry : Extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas, Land transport and transport via pipelines, Specialized construction activities, Water collection, treatment and supply JOB DESCRIPTION : Develop and implement corporate governance frameworks to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry-specific requirements governing petroleum trading, wholesale distribution, and transport services. Advise the Board of Directors and executive leadership on governance best practices, regulatory developments, and risk management strategies impacting petroleum supply chains and logistics operations. Establish and enforce internal control systems that promote transparency, accountability, and ethical business conduct across trading, distribution, and transport activities. Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, particularly those applicable to petroleum handling, storage, and transport operations. Conduct regular audits and compliance reviews to evaluate governance practices, identify gaps, and mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks. Oversee the company’s risk management framework, addressing critical risks related to petroleum price volatility, supply chain disruptions, and licensing obligations. Lead training programs to build employee awareness on governance standards, regulatory compliance, anti-corruption measures, and sustainable business practices. Prepare and present governance and compliance performance reports to the Board, highlighting risks, regulatory issues, CSR initiatives, and recommendations for improvement.
