The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) & Data Analytics Specialist to join our Sales team in Malaysia.

Reporting to the Customer Marketing Manager, the SFE & Data Analytics Specialist will play a critical role in driving commercial effectiveness through data-driven insights and performance management. The role is responsible for Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE), reporting, and analytics to support business decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and enhance field force productivity. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Medical, and Finance to ensure alignment and execution of commercial strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)

Provide analytical support to commercial teams to optimize field effectiveness.

Manage and monitor territory alignment and call planning, ensuring efficient coverage.

Develop incentive compensation schemes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Administer CRM and content platform, ensuring seamless operation and feature rollouts

Train sales teams on CRM usage, SFE tools, and data interpretation.

Data Analytics & Reporting

Deliver timely and accurate sales reports, dashboards, and business reviews to management and sales teams.

Conduct in-depth data analysis (IQVIA, sales, CRM, market data) to generate actionable insights.

Support trend analysis, and performance tracking for channel and brands.

Provide analytical support for strategic planning, product launches, and business reviews.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields.

Experience

Minimum 3 years relevant working experience. Prior working experience in SFE, Commercial Analytics, or Business Intelligence within the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry will be added advantage.

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; experience with Veeva CRM and BI tools highly preferred.

Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.

Possess ability to utilize systems to aid in data extraction and analysis

Proactive and solution-oriented, able to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to simplify complex analyses for business stakeholders.
