About the role

Infinite QL Group Of Companies' is seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician (Security Systems & ELV) to join our Maintenance & Support Team

As a fulltime member, you will be responsible for after sales support and services, preventative maintenance and upkeep of our security systems and ELV (Extra-Low Voltage) infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of these critical systems.

What you'll be doing

Proactively maintain and service security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder detection systems and network systems
Troubleshoot and repair any issues with ELV systems, such as lighting, audio, video equipment and computers and networks
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential problems before they arise
Liaise with relevant stakeholders to understand system requirements and implement changes or upgrades as needed
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and system performance
Prepare recommendation and reports to improve system performance and minimize downtime and outages
To test and evaluate latest technology and thereafter conduct testing and proof of concept for customers systems upgrades
Provide on-call support and respond promptly to emergency situations

What we're looking for

Relevant technical qualifications in electrical, electronic, or security systems maintenance

Minimum 1 years of experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in the security or ELV systems industry

Strong working knowledge of security systems, ELV infrastructure, and maintenance best practices

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues

Proficient in the use of various tools and equipment used in maintenance and repair work

Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and to prioritise tasks effectively
