As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 and Divinity : Original Sin 2 is looking for an Associate-Le;ve Environment Artist to join the team and help us craft high-caliber games our fans expect.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and Mentorship : regular check-ins with team members, assist with career development.
- Artistic Direction and Quality Control : review art created by your team from both a directional artistic and technical perspective.
- Pipeline and Technical Development : define and optimize production workflows for asset creation and level art.
- Cross-Department Collaboration : work with Level Design, Lighting, Graphics programmers, Tools Development, and other departments.
- Project and Resource Management : prioritize and delegate tasks, recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Problem-Solving and Innovation : push visual fidelity and help develop tools to streamline production.
- Hands-on execution : allocate time to personally create and refine art.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience as a 3D environment artist.Skilled with 3D tools, sculpting, and texturing software; show your work.Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.Experience with game editors for asset integration and level creation. Familiarity with Unreal Engine or Unity is a plus; our tools are proprietary.Experience with both level art and 3D asset creation.Nice to have
Experience with photogrammetry from scanning to processing and cleanup.Comfort using Marvelous Designer, SpeedTree, or Houdini.Knowledge of building procedural workflows to streamline and enhance work.Background in traditional art to support idea-to-visualization work (painting, sketching, etc.).Combination of artistic flair with technical know-how; strong sense of composition, shape, scale, color, and lighting.Leadership or mentorship experience.What We Offer
