General Manager / Manufacturing Manager (Precision Engineering)
Job Description : The General Manager will oversee and lead all aspects of manufacturing operations in the precision engineering sector, ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and business profitability. This role requires strong strategic, operational, and financial leadership, with a proven background in managing complex manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities :
Operational Management
- Oversee and manage all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain functions.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry standards.
- Track and analyze production KPIs to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery.
- Optimize utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve production goals.
Strategic Planning
Develop and execute strategic initiatives to achieve organizational objectives and long-term growth.Identify new business opportunities and areas for operational improvement within the precision engineering industry.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.Lead continuous improvement and innovation efforts in product and process development.Financial Management
Prepare and manage annual budgets for manufacturing operations.Monitor financial performance and implement cost‑efficiency strategies.Oversee P&L management to ensure business profitability.Provide accurate financial and operational reporting to senior leadership.Customer and Stakeholder Relations
Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align production capabilities with business demand.Represent the organization in industry meetings, exhibitions, and professional networks.Address operational and service issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within precision engineering.Demonstrated success in leading and managing manufacturing teams.In‑depth knowledge of production processes, quality management, and supply chain systems.Strong strategic, financial, and analytical skills.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast‑paced environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
