Job description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all factory facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and installations of various systems.
  • Strategize and manage the Facilities Team to meet company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with BSC, Halal, GMP, HACCP, DOSH, DOE, and statutory requirements in maintenance activities.
  • Establish world-class standards and promote a quality culture.
  • Manage policies, guidelines, and document compliance with standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and related documents.
  • Liaise with utilities providers for services and compliance.
  • Set and monitor KPIs for the Facilities Team.
  • Plan and lead preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Support production processes to meet output and quality targets.
  • Coordinate with other departments for efficient first-line maintenance.
  • Ensure a safe working environment, conduct regular audits, and manage housekeeping.
  • To carry out other duties and tasks as directed by the Management in line with competencies and activities associated with any of the above processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the same capacity.
  • Possess strategic thinking abilities and effective communication skills within a multi-layered group.
  • Ability to balance teamwork with resource competition among other departments.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company's business model and embrace its values.
  • Show proficiency in team building and strong leadership capabilities.
  • Must be willing to work at Pulau Indah, Klang.
