Responsibilities

• Follow instructions from Manager / Operations Executive for inspection work.
• Review job file and prepare tools, instruments, and documents needed for inspection.
• Receive items at port (agriculture / mineral), cut or prepare samples, and carry out inspection (weight, size, etc.).
• Record inspection results and prepare draft field report.
• Update Operations Executive daily on job progress and highlight any problems.
• Assist in daily operations and supervise junior inspectors if required.
• Maintain equipment and report any problems to superior.
• Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out responsibilities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
