Digital IT Project Management Job Responsibilities

Driving and managing digital IT projects, including : scope capture / validation, timeline planning / tracking / alerts, and ensuring deliverables against approved commitments. Plan, mobilise and track IT resources to ensure accountability for role deliverables. Identify deviations in project planning, monitoring, execution, and closure; raise risks or issues and resolve promptly. Capture, report, track and resolve all project risks and issues to ensure group tech commitment to excellence. Communicate, report and engage with stakeholders as a key representative of group tech to ensure clarity of project progress, deviations, risks and issues. Compliance and Practices

Ensure compliance with bank policies and processes for managed projects. Adherence to software delivery lifecycle via waterfall, Agile, or both; adherence to project management best practices. Vendor Management

Manage vendors when external parties are involved : plan, monitor, track, report, pay and close required activities; validate vendor deliverables and align with payments; track costing and payments promptly. Technical Understanding

Develop an understanding of the digital ecosystem in functional and technical domains to validate work and support problem solving. Understanding of infrastructure is advantageous; experience with Agile and waterfall software delivery. Project Delivery and Agile Practices

Deliver software in Agile and waterfall aligned to application standards. Lead the scrum team in applying Agile and Scrum practices. Support the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction. Identify and remove impediments and coach the Scrum team to do so. Project Landscape

The role will manage digital projects for local and regional Maybank entities. End-to-end project delivery across the project lifecycle. Hands-on experience in managing software increments used by millions of Maybank customers. Maintain close working relationships with business partners in virtual banking. Seniority and Employment
