About the Job : We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer focused on QA and Testing (Manual, Automation, and Performance Testing). The role involves thoroughly inspecting and testing our products and features to ensure they function as intended before launch.

Responsibilities The candidate will define testing strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement them. As the Software Test Engineer, your responsibilities include : Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for manual, automated, and regression testing. Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities. Designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using open-source tools. Identifying, recording, tracking bugs, and performing regression testing upon bug resolution. Tracking quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Staying current with new testing tools and strategies.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related software discipline from an accredited institution. At least 3 years of software testing experience. Hands-on experience in developing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases. Experience with both white box and black box testing methodologies. Proficiency with automated testing tools. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting. Proven ability to work effectively in team environments and demonstrate problem-solving skills. Ability to identify, formulate, and resolve engineering problems. Desired Qualifications : Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and QA roles within iterative cycles. Experience with security testing. Experience testing big data applications based on Hadoop, Spark, or KX. Proactive attitude and eagerness to tackle new challenges.
