Job description

Responsibilities

  • Verify vendor invoices versus receiving (Invoice Processing).
  • Schedule and execute payments via checks, EFTs or wire transfers (Payment Processing).
  • Review employee expense claims for compliance with company policy (Expense Reimbursements).
  • Reconcile AP balances with vendor statements of account.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable, including collections follow‑up, cash application and bad debt provision.
  • Maintain the general ledger, record adjusting journal entries, inter‑company transactions, and daily / monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Track and reconcile petty cash and sub‑ledger records to ensure alignment with the GL.
  • Perform month‑end closing tasks such as accruals, deferrals and fixed‑asset depreciation.
  • Prepare year‑end closing and audit support documentation, including aged AR / AP reports and fixed asset registers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as finance assistants.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be able to work at HQ Office Bandar Sri Sendayan, Seremban.
