We are looking for a highly motivated and results‑focused Lifecycle Marketing Strategist to join our team.
Role Overview
In this role at Common Thread Collective (CTC), you will serve as a key strategic leader, helping guide our clients toward long‑term, scalable growth. Your mission is to ensure predictable and consistent revenue through lifecycle marketing initiatives—leveraging data‑driven insights to create forecasts, shape strategic plans, and maintain reliable performance.
Your responsibilities extend far beyond email execution—you act as a trusted partner to our clients in all areas of customer lifecycle strategy. You clearly articulate the reasoning behind our recommendations, bridging the gap between forecasts and the email, SMS, direct mail, and other lifecycle touchpoints we deploy.
You also serve as a dedicated champion of CTC's distinctive lifecycle approach and the tools that power it.
As a Lifecycle Marketing Strategist, you lead with clarity and intention, ensuring that every initiative is executed with excellence and aligned with client goals.

Minimum Experience Requirement
At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in email and SMS marketing, with proven execution across campaigns, automations, segmentation, and optimization.At least 2 years of experience in retention marketing, owning initiatives that drive predictable revenue, customer lifetime value, and ongoing lifecycle improvements.Key Responsibilities & Skills
Establish and maintain client forecasting using the Prophit system.Create email forecasting reports and marketing calendars.Execute monthly performance vs forecast, adjust resource allocation, and provide data‑driven insights.Leverage tools such as memberships, subscriptions, loyalty programs, pop‑ups, quizzes, cart drawers, post‑purchase upsells, and direct mail to impact retention metrics.Ensure deliverables are on‑brand, technically sound, and aligned with client expectations.Communicate clearly with clients, send daily updates, and coordinate with strategy and media teams.Contribute learnings back to the system and collaborate across teams.Continuously monitor industry trends and adopt best practices to optimize performance.Client Communication
Champion communication, ensuring alignment on retention goals.Send daily performance updates and weekly Slack updates.Collaborate with growth strategists and media buyers on reporting.Contribution

Oversee profitable growth of retention channels (email, SMS, direct mail, pop‑ups, push notifications).Write briefs for the team.Prepare accurate reports and analyze KPIs.Collaborate with design and content teams to deliver engaging email content.Ensure timely delivery of deliverables; manage projects.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.Build relational equity with team and clients to foster lasting relationships.Compensation & Career Path
