Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Business and Economics Teacher to join our growing team of global educators. This role offers the opportunity to inspire young minds, contribute to academic excellence, and be part of a school that is redefining the future of learning.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan, design, and deliver engaging lessons in Business and Economics , aligned with IB programme standards and learning outcomes.
  • Develop and administer assessments that meet reliability and validity standards, supporting continuous student growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with programme coordinators, campus leaders, and fellow teachers locally and globally to ensure academic consistency and excellence.
  • Uphold academic policies and contribute to curriculum development, instructional improvement, and departmental initiatives.
  • Participate actively in professional development programmes and ongoing teacher training.
  • Engage in campus-wide activities and carry out ad-hoc duties as assigned by school leadership.

Key Requirement :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Studies, Humanities, Geography , or World History .
  • Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in the education industry; international school and IB experience are highly advantageous.
  • Possession of a professional teaching qualification ; an IB certificate in Teaching and Learning is preferred.
  • Willingness to undergo IB-specific training in alignment with IBO accreditation requirements.
  • Strong understanding of student developmental needs across age groups.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching practice, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with the MYP (Middle Years Programme) is an added advantage.
