Job descriptionTax Compliance - Ensure all tax returns, such as corporate income tax and other relevant taxes, are filed accurately and on time with tax authorities. Tax Planning - Create and execute tax strategies aimed at improving the company's tax position, reducing tax expenses, and managing associated risks. Local Project Support - Provide financial assistance for projects, including supporting the setup and operation of overseas financial shared services and enhancing ERP-related financial systems. Collaboration - Partner closely with internal teams like finance, legal, and business units to maintain consistency and coordination on tax-related issues.
The Successful Applicant
- A bachelor's degree or higher in finance, accounting, auditing, or tax is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 year's experience in finance or auditing, with retail industry experience considered a plus.
- Proficiency in English or Mandarin (both spoken and written) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-cultural awareness.
- Competitive monthly salary between MYR 4500 and MYR 6000.
