GURU TASKA / CHILDCARE TEACHER / NURSERY TEACHER

About The Role

At Learning Steps Sdn. Bhd., we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher to join our dynamic team in our centre located in Damansara Utama, Selangor. As a Childcare Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to our young learners, ensuring their holistic development and well‑being.

What you'll be doing

  • Engaging children in age‑appropriate educational activities, storytelling, and creative play to stimulate their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
  • Providing a nurturing and safe environment that fosters the children's learning and development.
  • Observing and documenting each child's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborating with parents and guardians to understand and support each child's unique requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with relevant childcare regulations and policies.
  • Actively participating in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

What we're looking for

  • A recognised diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working in a childcare or preschool setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for nurturing and educating young children.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development, curriculum planning, and age‑appropriate teaching methods.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.
  • A valid childcare provider's certificate or willingness to obtain one.
