A DAY IN A LIFE
You can expect your days to be pretty varied at Teleport. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to :
- Strategic Design Leadership : Collaborate closely with the brand and creative team to strategize, develop, and present design while ensuring they meet product and platform requirements across the China market and beyond.
- Creative Development : Lead and take part in the brainstorming process, generating fresh and impactful ideas, concepts, layouts, and graphics. Take ownership of end-to-end design for marketing collateral, campaigns, and user experiences, ensuring each design is aligned with brand and / or marketing messaging.
- Business & User-Centered Design : Translate business requirements, user needs, and technical specifications into visually engaging, user-friendly, and emotionally resonant designs.
- Cross-Department Collaboration : Work closely with other departments (e.g., content, marketing, product marketing) to ensure consistency in visual tone and style, ensuring that all designs complement accompanying copy and messaging.
- Quality Control : Maintain the highest standards of visual design quality, ensuring that all deliverables are polished, cohesive, and brand-appropriate.
- Trend Awareness & Innovation : Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh perspectives into your work. Develop designs that are culturally relevant, engaging, and drive customer engagement and sales across both local and regional markets.
Requirements
These are the qualifications needed for the role :
Five years experience in graphic design working within a marketing, advertising, agency or in-house environment, with strong preference towards experience in B2B / B2C marketing.Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in print and digital design outputsExperience and knowledge in designing for the China market, understanding cultural nuances and local consumer preferences.Ability to conceptualize creative ideas and turn them into compelling, actionable designs.Strong proficiency with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Bonus : Figma, 3D design software).Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with content creators, marketers, etc.Passion for design innovation, always seeking ways to engage audiences and push creative boundariesNice-to-have : Proficiency in video editing software : Premiere Pro, After Effects and CapcutWe’re all about creating a diverse and inclusive team where everyone feels valued.
