Base pay range
Salary : MYR3,500.00–MYR6,000.00 per month
Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans based on the Montessori method, fostering independence and a love of learning in toddlers.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, discovery, and social interaction.
- Observe and document each child’s individual progress, developmental milestones, and learning styles, using this information to personalize instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on their child’s development, addressing concerns, and fostering a strong home-school partnership.
- Guide and support toddlers in developing self-help skills, such as dressing, toileting, and eating independently.
- Supervise and interact with toddlers during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
- Attend professional development workshops and training sessions to stay current on best practices in early childhood education and the Montessori method.
Qualifications
Possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience working with toddlers in an educational setting.Exhibit a deep understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate learning activities.Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.Proven ability to create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.Strong classroom management skills, including the ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and consistency.Demonstrated creativity in developing and implementing engaging and educational activities that cater to diverse learning styles.Excellent observation skills to assess individual student needs and progress, and to adapt teaching methods accordingly.Must be patient, compassionate, and possess a genuine love for working with young children.Familiarity with the Montessori method is preferred but not required.Benefits
