Overview

Project Manager role at Siemens Energy in the Grid Technologies division (Grid Solutions). This position reports to the Head of Grid Technologies Grid Solutions in Malaysia.

What You’ll Do

Implement projects to meet the required standard of quality (time, budget, functionality) and ensure business success.
Act as the customer’s single point of contact for project management of the Transmission Products & Systems. Monitor and drive improvement of Key Performance Indicators (business area availability & reliability, revenue & gross margin, customer satisfaction).
Identify the appropriate resources needed and ensure that these resources are provided to the project.
Assemble a project team and assign individual responsibilities.
Engage with internal stakeholders, customers, partners, and team members to plan, schedule, and implement outages, including managing part deliveries, identifying upsell possibilities, and implementing risk mitigation measures as required.
Create and maintain documentation according to the quality management process.
Build, grow and maintain strong customer relationships.
Set an example in driving zero harm culture.
Proactively provide feedback and suggestions on process improvement and cost reduction.

What You Bring

Proficiency in completing and implementing Transmission Substations Projects in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore.

University degree in electrical or electronic engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 8 years of work experience in project management / operations including technical, financial and contractual aspects in energy transmission.

Project management experience, preferably with certification from international project management bodies.

Distinctive communication skills.

Excellent English and ability to work in a multicultural environment; able to be flexible and mobile during project execution.
