Job Summary : The HR Manager will be responsible for leading the Human Resources function at M Social Penang, ensuring the implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures to attract, develop, and retain top talent. This role will play a crucial part in establishing a positive and inclusive work culture that aligns with the values and goals of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities :
Recruitment and Onboarding :
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the hotel.
- Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make hiring recommendations.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Employee Relations :
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.Implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations.Performance Management :
Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions.Provide guidance and support to managers in addressing performance issues and implementing performance improvement plans.Compensation and Benefits :
Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with company policies and market standards.Conduct periodic salary reviews and benchmarking studies to maintain internal equity and external competitivenessHR Administration :
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review and decision-making.Manage HR-related documentation, including contracts, policies, and procedures.Qualifications and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HR management roles within the hospitality industry, preferably in pre-opening environments.Strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a diverse team.Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software applications.Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
