Overview

Innity is looking for a highly driven Finance Manager to oversee and perform day-to-day financial and accounting operations of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Review, supervise and manage day-to-day accounting workflow and ensure adherence to the company’s accounting processes and procedures.
  • Review invoices, posted journals, payment vouchers, and monthly management reports to ensure accuracy and submission within company policy timeframes.
  • Support the development of the finance team on workload planning and process improvement as needed.
  • Be familiar with relevant direct and indirect tax regulations and participate in special assignments arising from new tax or accounting regulations.
  • Review regulatory reporting requirements for the financial reporting segment and ensure subordinates complete all reporting within regulator timelines.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in financial reporting standards and participate in implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Liaise with auditors during interim and final audit periods to ensure the audited report is accurate and finalised before the deadline.
  • Review the company’s SST computation as needed.
  • Prepare the annual budget.
  • Control credit card spending and assist in filling credit card information in publishers’ platforms for running campaigns.
  • Conduct yearly staff performance reviews and prepare annual appraisals.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to address relevant issues upon queries.
  • Provide full support in preparation of Innity's regional accounts (issue invoices, prepare payments, manage cashflow, and coordinate monthly and yearly closings).
  • Prepare monthly tax reports and coordinate payroll reports for monthly salary payouts.
  • Liaise with auditors on the annual audit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
  • Member of MIA and a registered accountant.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a publicly listed company or international accounting firm.
  • Familiar with Malaysian accounting standards requirements.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
