This company is a leading provider of aircraft component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services in the Asia Pacific region. They are looking to hire a Senior Finance Executive to join their team !
Your new role
- Ensure all financial transactions comply with the Delegation of Authority (DOA).
- Process vendor payments promptly with complete and accurate documentation.
- Maintain payment records in line with local regulatory requirements, including those from the Central Bank.
- Ensure timely and well-documented reimbursement of employee expense claims on a weekly basis.
- Adhere to monthly customer invoicing deadlines set by the Group.
- Resolve issues related to vendor invoices and repair orders efficiently.
- Close monthly accounts accurately, minimising errors that could impact financial results.
- Complete bank reconciliations by the 10th of each month.
- Monitor and address Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt (GRIR) items older than 60 days.
- Submit Balance Sheet Schedules by the 10th of the following month.
- Ensure adequate and properly calculated inventory impairment provisions.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support company goals and objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business management, or equivalent professional qualification.Proficiency in AutoCount accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and construction accounting knowledge (advantageous).At least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting.Language Proficiency : English, Malay, Mandarin (advantageous).Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
