Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Process Quality Engineering team to achieve manufacturing quality objectives.
- Manage IPQA inspectors and supervisors to ensure effective execution of in-process quality controls.
- Oversee MRB activities, ensuring timely review, disposition, and documentation of non-conforming materials and products.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration among Quality, Production, Engineering, and Planning teams to address quality challenges and enhance operational performance.
- Prepare quality reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead and continuously implement improvement initiatives to meet and exceed quality performance targets.
Education & Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline.Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt certification is an advantage.Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.Flexible and proactive problem-solver with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Proven ability to build collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and maintain strong attention to detail.Highly ethical, adaptable, and results-driven professional.Experience Requirements
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.At least 3–5 years of leadership experience managing quality engineers and / or inspection teams.Strong hands-on experience with MRB handling and in-process quality systems.Skills & Knowledge Requirements
Solid knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis.Familiarity with quality management systems including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or equivalent standards.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.#J-18808-Ljbffr
