Currently, for the new Seargin project, we are looking for a Software QA Automation Engineer.

Location : Kuala Lumpur (work at least 3 times per week from office)
Tasks
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, particularly using TOSCA (primary tool), ensuring full test coverage of applications and services.
- Implement and execute functional, performance, and non-functional testing, including black-box testing for APIs and UI components.
- Create, maintain, and run automated test scripts for web and API testing using tools such as Selenium and JMeter.
- Ability to integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Build and integrate testing processes within CI / CD pipelines to support continuous testing and deployment.
- Take technical ownership of the automation testing approach within the team and drive best practices.
- Develop and execute tests for API Gateway services, ensuring reliability and scalability.
- Work independently with a problem-solving mindset, taking initiative to propose technical improvements in the QA process.
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code testing strategies (e.g., using Terraform) – nice to have.
- Leverage knowledge of AWS core services to validate infrastructure and cloud‑related components.
- Knowledge of defect reporting and risk analysis processes.
- Strong collaboration skills and active participation in the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience working with technical documentation and knowledge bases.
- Ability to mentor developers and support their focus on software quality.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in automation testing (web UI and backend APIs).Strong skills in Java and Selenium WebDriver for frontend testing.Experience with API testing.Hands‑on with performance testing tools like Gatling or JMeter.Familiar with functional, black-box, performance, and non-functional testing.Knowledge of testing frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, and BDD with Cucumber.Experience designing and customizing test automation frameworks.Good understanding of CI / CD pipelines and testing in those environments.Experience with CI / CD tools like GitLab or Jenkins.Proficiency with Git for version control.Familiar with build tools like Maven or Gradle.Experience integrating AI use cases into testing workflows.Familiar with AWS core services (e.g., API Gateway, Identity Management).Experience with TOSCA.Fluent in English (verbal and written).Nice to Have
Terraform.A good understanding of the fundamentals of Software Testing methodologies and Test Automation frameworks, especially Tricentis Tosca, is an advantage.Practical experience in Agile Software Development methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe Agile is an advantage.Passionate about learning new things – regardless of any challenges.Have strong structural, analytical, and critical thinking.Excellent interpersonal skills and well‑balanced, adaptive communication style; ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.Discover the Power of IT Excellence.
