Role Description

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in defining, implementing, and executing test automation strategies. This role will lead continuous improvements across testing processes while mentoring and supporting the growth of team members. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys fostering a culture of quality, scalability, and technical excellence throughout the organization.

This position will begin as a contract role, with the intention to convert to a permanent position upon successful completion of the contract period and satisfactory performance.

Applicants must have Malaysian citizenship due to legal / regulatory requirements for this role.

Main tasks and responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for both new and existing features
• Plan and implement strategies to improve test coverage and expand automation scope
• Drive efficiency by automating manual testing processes
• Identify, report, and collaborate with development teams to resolve bugs
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and conduct code reviews for team members
• Research, evaluate, and introduce new test automation tools and technologies
• Define roadmaps and manage progress to achieve project quality goals
• Perform any technical related tasks assigned by manager
