Job descriptionBachelor in a Mechanical / Materials / Corrosion / Chemical / Integrity related subject from a recognized University. 3-5 years’ experience in engineering field and registered with BEM Experience working in the field of Oil and Gas / Petrochemical Integrity Management or closely related field Familiar with specific standards related to Corrosion and Integrity A proactive Team Player Leader Experience in Supervisory skills. Able to coordinate and motivate a team towards a common goal Show interest in company’s success. Technical knowledge and experience in related field Able to work independently and to coordinate several activities simultaneously Able to interact with all levels of management and clients Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Acts quickly and decisively; able to make tough calls Works well under pressure, challenges status quo. Job Description
- Responsible to plan, organise and control the day to day operations of jobs under their supervision. Provide advice and assist on technical aspects of inspection and to meet client’s requirements.
- Support the delivery of existing Corrosion and Integrity jobs by providing technical and managerial input to the following types of activity :
- AIM / RBI;
- Corrosion inspection and monitoring;
- Site sampling;
- Technical and Management strategy documentation development;
- Integrity reviews; and
- Ad hoc trouble shooting.
- Perform specific job scope as per client’s / contract’s requirement.
- Preparation of draft and Final Reports.
- Review of final reports.
- Assist the Operation Manager / Department Manager in the development of existing and new business through regular client contacts.
- Acceptance and issuance of job instructions and control of special operations.
- Assist in the development and training of staff to required level of expertise.
- Ensure that all operations are conducted within client’s health and safety requirements.
- To recognize that the department Quality system is fully implemented as per the QA Manual.
- Adherence to applicable Quality Management System by exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities in executing, fulfilling and ensuring at all times the compliance of the QMS and is fully implemented in accordance to ISO 17020 & MIBAS policy, 17065 & ACB policy and ISO17025 & SAMM policy"(where applicable / required).
- Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.
- Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and / or Senior Management
