Job Summary :

UCSI Schools is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join our team and teach across both upper secondary and pre-university levels. The ideal candidate will inspire students to understand economic principles, think analytically, and apply economic reasoning to real-world issues.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and curriculum-aligned Economics lessons for secondary and pre-university students.
• Design lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments in accordance with national (KSSM) and international syllabi (e.g., IGCSE, A-Level, or equivalent), if applicable.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and academic support to ensure growth and understanding.
• Foster a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry, debate, and real-world application of economic concepts.
• Integrate financial literacy, current economic events, and global perspectives into teaching practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum consistency, academic rigor, and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
• Participate in school activities including co-curricular programs, school events, parent-teacher meetings, and other community-based initiatives.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and developments in Economics education.
