SENIOR ENGINEER II, STRUCTURAL

Job Purpose

Perform structural design and analysis for subsea projects, providing technical expertise to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective engineering solutions from design to offshore installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise structural design and analysis independently.
• Prepare, review, and approve technical engineering documentation.
• Participate in design and constructability reviews.
• Provide strong engineering guidance on subsea structural analysis, fabrication, handling, and installation.
• Ensure all deliverables are technically compliant, high-quality, and delivered on schedule.
• Lead and guide a team of engineers and draughtsmen to ensure alignment in design and drawings.
• Support tenders and project activities, including internal meetings and client interfaces; provide sound recommendations and solutions.
• Drive innovative and efficient approaches to optimize subsea structures.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety and quality through active involvement in related initiatives.
• Stay updated with industry developments through participation in relevant professional society events.
• Travel to site locations to guide, inspect, or oversee structural fabrication as required.
• Travel offshore for equipment installation or project meetings when necessary.
• Proficient in engineering software such as SACS, GRLWeap, Sesam, Abaqus, Ansys, and AutoCAD; experience with Orcaflex or MOSES is an added advantage.
• Well-versed in international standards (DNV, API, ISO) and familiar with MWS requirements and client specifications.
